Hey everyone,
I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying to KSU'S ABSN (or even traditional) program and thought I would start one. I am taking the TEAS pretty late (early January) and will have most of my pre-reqs done by December, but I'm pretty nervous. I have around a 3.5 from my bachelors degree at UGA and will probably end up with around the same in pre-reqs. It seems pretty competitive so not sure of my chances! Hope I can blow the TEAS out of the water. :)
If I did my researching correctly on here, applicants were hearing pretty late last year, like late April and May. I hope they can end the suspense a little earlier this year!
Anyone else applying?
From what I'm told, the first semester is 3 days a week but a lot of studying bc of patho. The clinicals start at the second half of the semester on Fridays.
I figured I would just email F this summer just to see what I need to do if anything. I saved all our emails about deferment just to be safe. She said I'd be notified when time to register but I just want to be safe. Let me know if you hear anything from her and I'll do the same!

I would imagine that they analyzed how much time went into the interview process, and then looked at whether those who did well in their interview (with maybe not so good grades) were doing well in the program. If the answer was no, they may have decided to just go based on grades. Just an idea, though. :)
