Hey everyone,
I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying to KSU'S ABSN (or even traditional) program and thought I would start one. I am taking the TEAS pretty late (early January) and will have most of my pre-reqs done by December, but I'm pretty nervous. I have around a 3.5 from my bachelors degree at UGA and will probably end up with around the same in pre-reqs. It seems pretty competitive so not sure of my chances! Hope I can blow the TEAS out of the water. :)
If I did my researching correctly on here, applicants were hearing pretty late last year, like late April and May. I hope they can end the suspense a little earlier this year!
Anyone else applying?
Hi @lclayton! Were all waiting anxiously too! Although, I heard that due to the snow days, they're definitely looking at late-March to April now for letters. :/ Not from an official source, but from a classmate who has a friend in the program. It wouldn't surprise me since hey were closed probably a week and a half for snow. Boo.
Hey everyone!
My name is Jessica. I am the class fep
for the traditional students in the Spring 2014 starting semester :) I would expect letters mid-late March. We got ours pretty early, but that is only because we did interviews as well. I noticed people were wondering about the schedule..first semester is typically Mon-Wed and clinicals can be Wed-Sun. It just depends. Also, some people have health assessment or holistic lab on another day (especially if you're a transfer and register later) so your schedule may not end up Mon-Wed!
Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. @elliot08- I remember you from our thread in the fall! So excited for you to start :)

I just found and read through this thread... AH! I'm so nervous now haha! I applied for Fall 2014 for the Accelerated BSN program. I have a 3.5 GPA from UGA and got a 92 on the TEAS. I graduated early and took pre-med science classes so maybe they'll take that into consideration? I really wish they did an interview or personal essay or something! Good luck everyone! Hopefully we'll be meeting soon!
