Hey,

I'm new to this site and would like some information/advice on the interviewing process. I haven't heard anything about the interview which sucks, but I have to prepare....Does anyone know when they will be mailing out the interview letters? What kinds of questions do they ask? If you do not mind to share your GPA and TEAS with me also. Thanks so much! Best wishes for those who have applied!

I still haven't heard anything regarding my admissions. I have a 3.43 GPA and had an 85.6 on the TEAS. I'm getting super nervous - especially after reading all of your posts about already receiving a letter. I already checked my mail today and nothing is there and I called KSU and the campus is closed today! But, congrats to you all!!! :)

Got the official letter today, too! For those who haven't received letters yet, you should be able to check online through OWL starting on Wednesday (Owl Express --> Program Applications --> Nursing Interview Signup). If you were selected for an interview it should let you select a date and time, if not it will give the message "It appears you have not been pre-selected for an interview. If you have any questions please call..."

Congrats to those who have received interview letters and I hope those waiting don't have to wait long!

Well, just to entertain myself I went online and tried to look up the Owl Express thing. Has anyone who has gotten an interview letter been able to log on and see if they have been "preselected"? I'm holding onto the few threads of hope I've got left!

Yes, I got my traditional letter. Good luck to everyone! And don't give up on this if the letter you receive isn't what you wanted. 20 years ago I didn't get into nursing school and I thought, "Oh, well.....I'm just not meant for this", but nothing could be further from the truth. It only means these programs are packed with too many applicants, not enough teachers and facilities and it is not a statement on you or your ability to be a nurse. It's a numbers game and do whatever it is you have to do to reach your dream. It is not unusual at all for people to try a couple of times to get in and then get in. I know we all want in yesterday, but just keep trying and you'll get in.

I just tried and got the "it appears you have not been pre-selected..." message. The letters say that interview registration doesn't start until March 10th, so I'm assuming the system is 'off' until then.

Thanks... that does offer me some extra hope. I didn't think my GPA or my TEAS score was terrible, but now I'm starting to second guess that thought. I'm really trying to keep up some hope, but seeing everyone who has already received a letter makes me have some serious doubts.
