Hey,

I'm new to this site and would like some information/advice on the interviewing process. I haven't heard anything about the interview which sucks, but I have to prepare....Does anyone know when they will be mailing out the interview letters? What kinds of questions do they ask? If you do not mind to share your GPA and TEAS with me also. Thanks so much! Best wishes for those who have applied!

Are you able to schedule your interview--or do they tell you when to come? If I'm lucky enough to get an interview--I'm out of state most of the days they are interviewing!

I also applied for fall 2010 admission. I heard that the interview letters will be mailed in March. My GPA is 3.54 and my TEAS score is 87.4......Anybody out there that also applied????????

I also applied to GSU accelerated, Mercer (was accepted) and Clayton State....KSU is my top choice.

Just curious - when everyone posts their GPA, how are you calculating that? Are you figuring your GPA based on your grades in the 12 prerequisits required for the nursing program at KSU? Or something else? Thanks.

That's a good question wrobelr--I was wondering the same things in terms of GPA....

Looking just at the 12 prerequs, mine is 3.8 with a 4.0 in math/science. But my overall gpa (undergrad since they dont consider grad work) is somewhere around 3.3 (Freshman year was weak).

I took over 6 years off from school before returning and finishing my junior and senior year and wound up graduating from GSU with a 3.96 (they didn't factor in my previous gpa)--but if you factor in the first year, it brings everything down.

I hope they don't weigh that too heavily!!!

Did anyone apply to both the traditional program and the accelerated program?

If so--do you know how KSU determines which program you'd be admitted into?

Also, do you know if the 5 semester traditional program is fall-spring-summer-fall spring? Or is it 5 semesters of fall/spring?

I got my letter today! I too requested that I be considered for both the traditional and the accelerated program but I was invited to interview for the accelerated program. I don't know how they made that determination. The traditional program I believe is fall, spring, summer, fall, spring.
