kaplan RN review Qbank low scores

as of now i did 26% of the questions on my Qbank and got 55% total correct scores! hope to get more higher scores as im working on it..

Nicolai: since you did kaplan on demand recently..and u were successful...Congrats!
Do u have any advice? Did the course book help you? Did u watch all the videos? And question lessons? I am weak in pharm

The book helps me a lot. It's actually my reference whenever i need to look for something. If i don't see it there, I go to internet (usually allnurses.com). I wasn't able to watch all the videos, just the introduction part and the one where they teach you how to answer NCLEX questions. Well, if you can watch all them, the better. About pharm... hmm... I don't know what to tell you. It's my weakness too. Maybe, try to focus on classifications. :smokin:

Memorize the Infection Control mneumonics(you can find it here on allnurses.com). It will help you answer all infection control questions. Memorize lab values. Keep practicing questions everyday. Maybe atleast, 100 questions a day. Also make sure you have time for yourself to relax.

And the most important part, always PRAY. :)

PS: Your diagnostic score is higher than me, I only got like 51%. :eek: :yeah:

I am also doing Kaplan NCLEX-RN. I already took the Diagnostic Test, Readiness Test, and 7 Trainers. I am doing my Q-Bank questions now. I will take my test soon in about a week. I am so nervous because it seems like my scores are too low.

Does anyone know the recommended Q-Bank percentage Score that shows that you are ready to take the NCLEX? My average Q-Bank score now is 61% (I finished 46% of the Q-Bank questions).

Diagnostic- 60%

T1 - 63

T2 - 61

T3 - 56

T4 - 51

T5 - 54

T6 - 60

T7 - 61

Readiness - 61%

Q-Bank Average (current) - 61%

Readiness - 62%

Q-Bank Average (current) - 56% correct answer did 33% questions.

im not happy with my scores =(

first week of january.. im working full time i want to finish the qbank so based on the schedule kaplan provided after the online class i will take it that date.. kaplan recommend to finish at least 90% of their Qbank.. i want to finish everything to make my money worth.. and besides i dont want to blame my self if i did not pass bec i did not finish qbanks and the content.

Thank you Melai12. I still don't like my scores though and really worried because I got some under 55% on my trainers. I will let you know how I did after my exam.

Melai12: Your scores are good too. Did you go over EVERY QUESTION after the test? or just the ones you got wrong? It takes me a long time to go over each Q-Bank test.

yes ill make sure i read and review them either right or wrong.. kaplan recommend 100-150Q's each day on the qbank and aim for 60% each test. my scores are low.. fluctuate bet 51-62% correct answer. my average as of now is just 56% ='(.. im doing 100 a day.. are u almost done with ur qbank questions?
