Hi all,
I was wondering if someone who has taken the exam before and also done kaplan can help me with this. I am testing for nclex rn in less than 2 weeks and i am not sure about the questions in the qbank. are they similar or are they a bit harder than the nclex exam?
As i have been preparing, my scores have stayed roughly the same in above 60%-69%. i have scored 56 and 59 as well on rough days. What are my chances of passing?
Oh ya, for sure Fusionfire! Definitely agree that your learning style depends on what type of resource you should be using. And even further to that, it also depends on the actual questions/style of questions, etc. that you get on NCLEX. Like, did I just happen to get 99 questions that seemed more similar to NCLEX Mastery? KWIM? Every resource will have shortcomings, I think the key is reviewing a number of different ones, and figure out how your style helps you build your knowledge in order to think critically.

dont be scared darling, it is all good. you have time so try and make a timetable and work according to that. see if your score comes up and practice the areas from the qbank that were below 60. try and achieve that and remediate after every test. for a 2 week plan, do each qtrainer one day at a time. remediate same day. leave trainers 6 and 7 for the last week. in between, you could redo some of the missed questions and understand why you got them wrong. i haven't given my exam, but i feel i am prepared for it. i haven't even done qtrainer 7 and plan to do it monday. this might not work for you but the key to success is only hard work and perseverance. mostly, look after yourself and try using some relaxing techniques. if it gets too much, just drop everything and go for a ride or even walk, it helps to clear your mind. i can only suggest this because i have done them myself. i have had severe palpitations and anxiety with this exam prep but hang in there and you can do it
