I got a 74. I only studied about 4 days, so I know that I would have done better if I had more time. Some of the schools I'm applying to for ABSN don't require the TEAS, some do and do not have a minimum score, and one of them has a minimum score of 70%. Should I bother retaking it? I know I could do better but if it's not absolutely necessary, I don't want to put myself through that again. I know no one can say yes you should retake it, but I'm looking for what you would do if you were in my shoes.

74 is pretty good. In addition to that, your GPA is competitive so I don't see a reason for you to retake it. Do keep in mind that some nursing programs go by the "point system" so for example, if you got a higher TEAS score you'd get more points which would increase your chances of getting in. So it just depends ultimately on the programs that you wanna get into.

simply has a good point cus it just so happens my school does the point system. But we dont get to retake our test and it has to be taken on our schools campus to be looked at at all. I will be taking Kaplan at Brenau, another school. This will give me an advantage of knowing context and how good i can actually do at my school. best wishes to you!!!
Thank you all for the input, I really appreciate it :)

Even if your school has a point system, I wouldn't think the amount of points you would have would increase significantly by a higher score. Maybe by a point or two, which I suppose if the application pool was highly competitive could make a difference. I really doubt it would be much of a difference though. With everything else you have going for you, you look pretty solid to me.
