Hello,
This is my first time taking the NCLEX. I only had 75 questions. I was sooooo anxious prior to the test that I was doing breathing exercises to help me relax. I'm sooo worried about what the outcome may be. I studied SOOO HARD.
I know that I answered questions right, but there were also some that i was unsure about. I pretty much always narrowed down to two possible ones.
I am sooo frustrated right now, and sort of dreading when two days pass and I can check the results.
Any words of wisdom???
Thanks for your support!!!

Do something fun to take your mind off the exam. After I had finished I came home and looked up every answer I could possibly remember and this only led to more headaches. I also read every thread on this website of examinee's who had similar situations as mine. Nothing you can do at this point except pray, pray, and pray!!! Best wishes, I'll be praying for you!

Try to find some activity that will occupy your mind instead of sitting around and wondering about the results. If the test was getting harder that is a good sign.Best of luck to you I take mine in two weeks. How did you study for it?
Thank you for your prayers!! Yes, from the beginning before I took the test I told myself to take my time, and that I would NOT look up the answers when I got home. So I didn't. But I was still worried.
For now, I'm trying to relax, and patiently wait.
Thanks for your suggestion.
I took a review class, read my saunders book, and reviewed my old notes from school.

Hey there,
Which Saunders book did you use 3rd or 4th edition?
You read the entire book? What about doing the questions in the cd in the back of the book?
I wish you much luck!!!

I had the 4th edition. No i didn't read the entire book. I just used it mostly as a source if I needed more information from my review class.
The questions are nice because of the rationalization only.
I'm feeling very anxious right now....Don't know how I'm gonna get any sleep waiting for tomorrow.
I'm trying to think POSITIVE thoughts right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol...I don't think I got any sleep the night before I was going to get my results. But I, like you, had 75 questions and I studied very hard and very thoroughly.
I hope you get good news tomorrow!

Go camping and just kick back. Try to get your mind off the test. I was told by my sister in law that after she took the NCLEX, she went camping and stayed busy to keep her mind off the results. Being away from the norm kept her sane.
