Just took NCLEX-RN...almost 10 SATA!!

Published

Hi everyone. I took the NCLEX-RN exam with 85 questions in a little over two hours. I don't know how to react to it. I've never heard of anyone having as many SATA questions than what I had. I had so much SATA questions that I lost count after six or seven!! I'm just really nervous because those type of questions were one of my weakest when I was studying using Kaplan! :(

I definitely did take my time the second time I took the exam and utilized the erase board to its fullest! I also had one math question. I'm just really scared to find out the results in two days! I know I got most of those SATA questions wrong. Ugh. I don't know what I'd do if I failed again...I studied soooo hard with Kaplan and its been the hardest 45+ days of my life. Need words of encouragement!

Also for Kaplan my average Qbank score was a 63%. Diagnostic was 63% and Readiness was 66%. QTrainers ranged from 49% to 64%. I've done so much with Kaplan and I don't know what I'd do if I failed again! I really did the best I could...

We have had a few members post they had many SATA questions. The best thing to do and I know it is easier said than done but try to relax and forget the exam. Stressing over it now isn't going to change the results and you have a good % on passing. Hang in there and good luck

Sending positive thoughts your way....good luck! Waiting is the hardest part...try to relax and watch a movie or start to do some spring cleaning =)

btw- I think I read somewhere in the nclex forum that someone got 15 SATA! You're not alone...

i reached 265 questions and encountered 6 SATA... still waiting for the result like yours... its been 6 days of waiting... hope we passed! goodluck!

hi may i know whats SATA is?thanks.good luck!

AIMEE: Select All That Apply.:banghead:

Many in my graduating class are reporting getting 10-15 SATA so hang in there! SATA is just another type of question and getting few or many is no indication of pass or fail. :)

Then give yourself a hug & know that we are all rooting for you! I too have to retake & want to be sure that I take it for the last time. Just know this of you do not pass..and that is IF...just retest. You are human. You never know...85 may be your lucky number
