Hi Guys!
So I took my NCLEX-RN and about an hour after, I did the Pearson vue trick. the popup that I got read verbatim "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time'? Is this the good pop up? I know of others whose pop up varied and instead said "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time'. I did not get the middle sentence. what does this mean?
My exam stopped at 75 questions. It was a mix of easy and higher level questions. Towards the end my questions seemed simple which worries me.

If you did it after an hour of taking the test it's too soon. Check back tomorrow

I've heard and read you can do the PVT moments after taking the exam - so it sounds to me like you like you passed!! Congrats!! Many of my classmates took NCLEX last week and did the PVT right after - so they knew their result. I've read on here folks doing the same - obviously if you get a different message (or have heard some folks getting the "hold" popup that's a different story).
What did you think of NCLEX - was it harder/easier than you thought? What did you prep with and did it help? Ty for your advice.
NCLEX was very similar to Kaplan questions. The questions are really straightforward. LOTS of sata however! I prepped with Kaplan, took the class, listened to all the online lectures, and answered all the questions. I also used saunders I read about 1/3rd of the book and I looked up info that I was unsure of. Overall I thought NCLEX was a little bit easier than I expected but every time I got a question that I thought was easy I would freak out and assume that it's cause I was answering the questions wrong that I was getting easy ones haha

Just curious, I took my NCLEX RN this morning and did the PVT one hour after completion. I also did PVT 3 hours after with the good pop up after both attempts. Just wondering how long did you wait before doing the trick. Some people seem to say that we should wait a day. Just curious how long you waited since you did pass.

Sassoune,
I just took my exam today. I tried the PV trick about an hour after my exam on my cell phone and it said the same thing as you ("Our records indicate...blah blah"). I went home couple of hours later and tried couple more times and still it said the same thing. So, I guess we can take it that we passed ? But I won't be celebrating until I know for sure that I have passed. I will be checking PV periodically tonight for the quick result, just to give myself some peace of mind.
Yedwards42, I though the NCLEX exam was difficult, even though most of my questions were on med surg. The topics I got were critical care stuff (like central lines) and were not my forte. I also got a lot of SATAs (about 20 with 75 questions). Most likely you will likely to get some too, you should be prepare for them if you are weak at them (as I am and many people, I'm sure). Try NCLEX 3500. It has a lot of SATAs in all nursing specialties for you to practice. Hope that helps
Thank you for your feedback and guidance - I appreciate it. Congrats again!! :)
sassoune,
just reaching out and following up. seems like you are hitting the 48 hour mark today since taking your exam. I got the same "pop up" as you without the middle sentence. "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time". just wondering if you got your quick results? would appreciate an update. im a worry freak too and i have one more 24 hour period to go before i find out. so nerve wrecking.

Ok, sassoune, the good popup is basically any variant that effectively says "Our records indicate... blah, blah... Another registration cannot be made at this time." In other words, your exam status says "delivery successful," your results aren't on hold for some reason, and because the billing system is seeing that "you passed" as of that scoring, it won't let you pay for a new exam. The 2nd scoring is definitive and that probably takes place within 24 hours, if not the same day. Once that 2nd scoring happens, your pass/fail result is final and your PVT is 100% accurate at that point. Unfortunately we don't know when exactly they do that 2nd scoring, so we won't know when to check the PVT for 100% accuracy. The only people for whom the PVT isn't accurate are those who are right on the pass/fail bubble when the exam shuts off. Those people could easily get a results flip due to the (apparently) slightly different scoring method they use at the 2nd scoring. I've yet to hear of someone whose exam shut off at 75 and had PVT reversal.
