Hi there!
I just took the NCLEX and like everyone else am freaking out. It shut off at 75 questions, and I had tons of calculations and select all that apply. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? A lot of the posts I've read on here said that they had 75 questions without calculations or select all, and they passed, so I'm a little worried. Any insight??

Welcome
The exam is hard to predict as so individualised. Good luck
Okay, thanks for the feedback.

I just took mine today and I would say that it is hard to gauge. Two other girls from my school took it today too. One had 4 calculations and maybe 20 SATA. I had 25-30 SATA and one calcuation and I can't remember what the other girl had for sure.I think she had a few calcuations and about 20 SATA. We all had 75 questions so who knows. I hope to find out wednesday morning my results for sure. Good luck!!

I also took NCLEX today. I had lots of dosage calculations and SATA. I absolutely hate SATA--I never did well with these in school. The machine cut off at 75 questions so now along with everyone else, I get to play the waiting game.

I too had a bunch of calculations and the most SATA I've ever had. I am waiting to here... I took my test Friday afternoon, and as of a minute ago, Pearsonvue said my results were not available. I know they said that it takes 2 "business" days, but I saw that others that have taken their test on Friday have their result already, so I'm starting to panic... I had all 265 questions, and this is my third attempt. I don't know why I'm freaking out, but all of a sudden I am, and I want to know. I have heard that the more SATA the better, and on my first two attempts combined, I had only about 4 SATA and one calculation, and on this test, I had 5 calculations, and 15-18 SATA... The test is already fading in my memory... :-)
Thinking positive thoughts for myself and all other recent takers... GOOD LUCK!
Good luck to everyone...
Well I'm glad to hear some other people had SATA and math...I NEVER do well with SATA, and so that's why I'm worried that it shut off at 75--because I did so horrible on them. I guess it's the waiting game...good luck everyone!!
It sounds like you had more SATA this time, and more calculations, so that's a good sign! Good luck and good thoughts your way!

Does your state actually participate in Quick Results? And did you pay the fee to see the results?
If either of the above answers are no, then you are not going to see your results on their website.
Results are up 48 hours after testing, if you tested on Friday, then they are up on Sunday, again provided that your state participates in Quick Results, only about 1/2 of them do.
SATA questions are only format style and do not determine the level of the question at all.
Calculations are not a good thing to see on the exam, they know that all had to pass the math exam to make it thru nursing school.

Thank you for the replies... Yes Florida participates in the quick vue. A friend of mine got her results yesterday, and she took them on Friday also. She passed. And a few others also... My dread is that if you don't pass it, then it takes them "longer" to post quick results???
Thanks again!
