Just took NCLEX with LOTS of calculations/select all that apply

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi there!

I just took the NCLEX and like everyone else am freaking out. It shut off at 75 questions, and I had tons of calculations and select all that apply. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? A lot of the posts I've read on here said that they had 75 questions without calculations or select all, and they passed, so I'm a little worried. Any insight??

This is very untrue. I wish people who actually KNOW what they are talking about before posting...I had a teacher that used to write NCLEX questions. SATA ARE higher level questions..when you are doing well, you get more of them. Math calculations are NOT bad to see!! My goodness, I would love to know what your source is??!!?

DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE SAYING CALCULATIONS ARE NOT A GOOD THING TO SEE!:mad::mad::mad::devil: I HAD 4(FOUR) IN 75 QUESTIONS! :uhoh3:When I finished that test I knew I had passed! I read the post about MATH not being a good thing to see and cried:crying2:!!! I was so upset until I saw the words PASS:yeah::yeah::yeah:!! AGAIN CALCULATIONS ARE NOT A DETERMINATION OF PASSING OR FAILING!!!

Whatever type of questions one receives, it is important to pass. In your practice you can't pick and choose the patient problems that you will address, so you need to be prepared for any question found on the test.
