Hi there!
I just took the NCLEX and like everyone else am freaking out. It shut off at 75 questions, and I had tons of calculations and select all that apply. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? A lot of the posts I've read on here said that they had 75 questions without calculations or select all, and they passed, so I'm a little worried. Any insight??
I just took the NCLEX today @ 8 am. I was finished by 9 am @ 75 questions. I had a ton of SATA, one calc, and some psych questions. I hate SATA and do not do well on those. I'm sick.............. I know that if I didn't pass, it is not the end of the world, but it still hurts! I feel like such an idiot.:stone
SATA questions are only format style and do not determine the level of the question at all.Calculations are not a good thing to see on the exam, they know that all had to pass the math exam to make it thru nursing school.
Suzanne - when you said that calculations are not good to see on the test, do you mean they are lower level questions and that you are not doing well which is why they are giving you calc questions??
Thank you!
I took it a few weeks ago and had 8 math questions and a bunch of SATA's. Test shut off @ 75 and I passed. My guess is you did well. The freaking out part is totally normal, but borders on cruel and unusual. I thought I'd relax after the test, but couldn't until I got the results. Try to have some fun if you can. As they say, you can't un-ring a bell. Best of luck!

I had 8-9 calcualtions on my NCLEX and passed with 75 questions and so did a few other students in my class. I am not expert and know if it is good or bad to have math questions all I know is that few of us had quite a few and still pased the NCLEX
