JUST took NCLEX and felt GREAT. Could that be BAD?

Published

I just walked out of the NCLEX feeling AWESOME. Shut off at 75. The last 15-20 were all triage and priority questions which our Kaplan instructor said was a good sign (I think). I just don't know though. I'm so freaked out. Did anyone else have this experience? I don't know ANYONE who felt this way after the NCLEX. Let me know--GOOD OR BAD!!!! At this point, in limbo, I'm dying for ANY input. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!!! I'll let you know the outcome in a couple of days, but until then, help a sister out!

Congratulations!!! I'm taking mine in 3 hours:eek:!!! I hope I walk out feeling the same way you did!!!!!!!

It can really go both ways but is not uncommon for you to "know" that you passed. I took it more than one time and when I passed I had this feeling I did pass, but I also had a good feeling when I didn't pass. Why don't you do the PVT? You will know for sure...

@coffeefix: GOOD LUCK! :) Do not panic. If you feel yourself losing control, just close your eyes and smile and take a series of very deep breaths. You have plenty of time.

Pearson Vue Trick (PVT)....I am pretty sure that is what they meant.

I just took my NCLEX today too!!! It shut off at 75 questions! I had a ton of prioritization and infection control questions and most of the meds asked I had never even heard of them! No math and no audio or clicking of areas. I have no idea how I did and I am totally stressing!! :confused: Any input from anyone?!?! Thanks!!!

Also does anyone know how accurate the pearson vue trick is ?!?!?!

@nursechic33

that was exactly the same for me!

75 questions. the last 15-20 were all priorities/triage/infection control.

the only alternate format questions i had were select all that apply. AND i, too, had a ton of meds i've never heard of

i looked up how to do the pvt, and it brought me to a page saying i was already registered . . . meaning?
