I just walked out of the NCLEX feeling AWESOME. Shut off at 75. The last 15-20 were all triage and priority questions which our Kaplan instructor said was a good sign (I think). I just don't know though. I'm so freaked out. Did anyone else have this experience? I don't know ANYONE who felt this way after the NCLEX. Let me know--GOOD OR BAD!!!! At this point, in limbo, I'm dying for ANY input. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!!! I'll let you know the outcome in a couple of days, but until then, help a sister out!
Your not the only one that felt that way! I took the nclex yesterday and finished with 75 questions. I felt confident after the exam which scares me. In nursing school, the tests that I felt I did really good on I usually didn't do as good. The ones that I thought I failed, I always did really good on..I did the pearson view trick a couple of times and got what I believe is the "good pop up", but I will not assume I passed based on the PVT. I have to wait until tomorrow for the quick results.
I also got just 76 questions, towards the end it was all delegation and setting priorities. I was in an absolute panic when the screen went blue and brought up the exit survey. I was just getting into the groove of the test when it ended. My state does not participate in rapid results, but my license was already issued by the BON the next day.
@jenn8500: that is EXACTLY how i did on exams historically. yikes! compounds the anxiety, doesn't it?
@lizzie_bee & tarsmith: AWESOME!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!! And thank you for the confidence. I've been refreshing and retyping fiendishly in all my free moments to see if anything has been posted. Fortunately, I haven't had too many free moments . . . :chair:
I know! Nice to have some free moments after taking this test. Did too much studying for the RN exam. I passed too! I did the PV trick, and I checked the boards again to make sure, and it tells me that I now have an RN license number. My test ended with only 75 questions completed, and I did feel that it was easy, which scared me as I thought the NCLEX was supposed to be hard for anyone that passed with 75 questions. Anyway, I'm glad I have passed, and I wish you all the best there.

How long did it take for your BON to put up a license number? I found my name on the one here today, but the number is still pending. Won't feel real until I have an actual number!!
Congrats!!
That is too funny Sarifina. I thought the same thing. I felt confident that I had passed and that it wasn't as hard as I had thought it would be. But I related it to the fact that, oh, well, nothing I can do about it now because what is done is done. And maybe it was because I had calmed my self down and psyched myself up before the test and I was still enjoying that natural high. I was also just glad to finally get it done. And, I only had 75 questions (so I either passed or sucked big time) :). And, I could be eating my words in 2 days - who knows. I will just be checking the PV site constantly even though I know it won't work until at least Monday. :)
