Okay..slight anxiety attack occuring at the moment. So I took my RN boards and walked out wondering "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!!!". I mean dammit I studied for how long and still feel I had a difficult time, even with questions I think were meant to be easy. My friend said if you do well during the test the questions just get more and more difficult. I couldn't tell the difference between what was meant to be difficult and what was meant to be easy. This is killing me. I think I can find out my results Thursday. Is this normal?? To make matters worst the computer shut off at 75. All I could think is if only I had a few more questions to prove myself. I hope the ones I got wrong were the 15 mock questions..

I never took the computer test, just the ole 2 day paper and pencil thing, but from what I have heard, if the computer shuts down at 75, odds are you passed.......
Good luck keeping calm until Thursday!!!! Oh and be thankful you don't have to wait 3 MONTHS for those results....LOL.

The same thing happened to me and I passed. The computer shut off at 75 questions and I thought for sure I failed. However, I passed and I am sure that you did too. Good luck.

Couldn't have said it better. I also took my boards this morning and left feeling numb and wondering if the computer registered me an as idiot! I had about 85 questions when I looked, and within 2 or 3 more questions the computer shut off...while I'm saying please just a few more to show I can do this! So I will wait for the results.

I was praying mine shutoff at 75 yesterday but I went for the long haul again, 265. I love your odds a lot better. Good Luck.

Those of you who passed at 75 are lucky. I was unfortunate to go through all 265 questions. Thank God it's over with.
Hey Ladies and Gents,
Still waiting for results. I think I can go online tomorrow morning and find out. Thanks for all of your support. I would like to kick the individual who thought it would be okay to make people wait for test results. You would think that because we did the test on the computer it would be quicker. Oh, well..I'll keep you all posted. I'm sure there are more important things going on in the world but damn it feels like the end of the world too...

Hey everyone. I’m new here. Well I was browsing through the website for about a month or so. Just wanted to share with you my feelings. I just came home half an hour ago from the test. I was going for a long ride. I actually ran out of time at 262 questions and don’t know what to think. I guess I’m on the border line here. Does anyone know how are they gonna decide if I passed or not if I ran out of time?
To tell you the truth I won’t even be upset if I didn’t pass, because I will find out what my weak areas are. FYI I finished nursing school in Russia and when I came here 4,5 years ago I didn’t speak a word in English. I couldn’t afford to go to school, so I was just studying English on my own at home and practicing it on the street or at the store. And here I am now, took 262 questions and proud to say that computer didn’t think that I’m an idiot at 75 questions (For those of you who only had 75 questions, nothing personal. I was talking about myself. For those who passed at 75- you are my heroes). So I still have a chance.
BTW I'm in California

pretty sure you can still pass if you run out of time.
