Just got home from my exam!! UGHHHHH. Help!!

I just got home from my exam! Ughhhh. I dont feel like I passed. I got the last answer wrong, but my last 2 questions were SATA!? I'm confused. I don't want to do the trick because I'm scared. I got 195 questions and feel like I didn't know half of them. Is it TRUE that if you get the last answer incorrect that you FAILED?

Please help. This is my 2nd time with this exam and I got the last question wrong the last time, but like I said, "I am confused because I was in the HIGHER LEVEL questions"!:confused:

No, please don't give up! You haven't even got the real results, so how can you lose faith like that. I know someone on allnurses said that tricked didn't work for them. They got the bad pop up and passed. Keep faith, and never give up you are a nurse. The hard part was getting through the nursing school and you did that. If you have to retake the test again give yourself one week, and get back into it. You can do it, God bless!

I'm so sorry to hear this news madisona1. :crying2: How frustrated and defeated you must feel. I don't blame you for wanting to be done with it. Sending you lots of hugs right now.

I've read success stories, here on allnurses, of people who have passed the NCLEX after many attempts. You can defeat this NCLEX beast too.

I couldn't help it, I tried the trick and I did not get a pop up:(

It says delivery successful.

Is that what needs to be there for the popup?? Mine goes straight to the payment

I bet it is and then I have failed once again. I don't know what to do anymore:(

have you gone through all the to the credit card payment page?

coz what i have read here, after you see "delivery successful" you will have to reregister... and if you'll get a pop-up it means positive, if not and if it will put you on the credit card page then its negative..

but anyways.. count on my prayer, huggss

Yes, it says "delivery succesful" and when I tried the PVT it took me:uhoh3: to the cc page

This was my 2nd attempt and I failed

I have been an LPN since 2003. :nurse::nurse:

It took me 3 x to pass that. I am a horrible test taker:crying2::crying2:

Hope I pass it the 3rd time

I can't afford $500 more

I already have $1100 into the State board and Pearsonvue

So Fricken Frustrating

For all the paople taking the exam...KNOW SATA, priority, Pharm and meds

That means EVERYTHING!

They say you don't have to know everything, but it seems like the test knew my weaknesses

I hate it!!

I'm soooo very sad.

How am I going to PASS!

I did Hurst and I did an entire book of SATA/alternate format questions

I guess I may need a review

I did graduate on 11/8/2008, but received my diploma after the last class in April 09'

I have to take a refresher after April 13th

Should I try one more time or take a refresher that will cost me $650??!!

It breaks my heart to hear the news Madisona. It is hard to swallow when one fails something, I remember when I found out that I failed my first attempt last October2010 it is horrible, take your time to cry it out and then go ahead with your next plan.

Don't give up. I know you'll be able to conquer it one of these days. Just don't give up. You are not defeated when you lose, you are defeated when you quit. I just believe in your abilities, it might not be your time yet but it will come soon. :)

im really sorry, i know that at this moment, there's no words that can elevate what you feel right now.. but one thing is for sure, whatever decision you make after this, or whatever result (official result) may come up just don't forget we are here to back you up...just don't quit, you may cry, but tell yourself one day to stop crying and stand up again...hugss

if you really know with urself that you need a refresher course, then take it...God put you at your situation right now because He knows you can definitely do it...you've gone this far, we'll just have to finish it, and start again but as an RN already someday...

That is a really tough decision. I don't think it would be wise to try and take it again immediately because I think you need some time off to regroup. I know you don't want to have to pay the $650 if you wait too long though. It might be helpful to do the refresher though because you have been out of school for a while.

The NCLEX is suppose to mail you a Candidate Performance Report in the event that you don't pass. It details your strong and weak areas. This might be helpful in focusing your studies for next time.

Can you try to contact the Hurst people and see what they advise? I took Kaplan and they have a guarantee policy. Does Hurst have something similar?

I know this is getting expensive and frustrating but I really have faith that you can do this!

you can't give up u worked long and hard to get to this point. Take a break and work at it from a different angle. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel bc I failed at my first attempt. Dont give up. Take time off to breath and regroup. Try again!!!!
