I graduated dec 2010, and I must say I was an average student all through nursing school:rolleyes:...I finally got up the courage to take the nclex after rescheduling my date 3x...on 8/8/11 ... i tried the Pvt when I got home and got the good pop up , but I didnt want to get my hopes up high. I got my quick results 2day and it said PASS .... I can finally breathe!!!!!!!!!!! my study material: 1.excell nursing review 2.saunders cd and the book for review...read rationales (100-150q/day) 3. kaplan 2010-2011 review and strategies book 4. PDA by linda lacharity 5 lots and lots of prayer :bowingpur... I CAN FINALLY SAY I'M AN RN...:w00t:

I recommend linda a. lacharity book as well. prioritzation, delegation, and assignment.

Once you pay ur $200 for nclex you will recieve your ATT letter and you can register for the NCLEX, which will give you a list of test centers. you can take the exam every 45 to 90 days depending on the state your in. some states do have a limit, like illinois is up to 3years.
