Hello everyone I thought I should start a post for all of us taking the NCLEX in June. Let's discuss what we are studying and what day are you testing? I take mine June 13th. My school was big on ATI so I did the VATI and doing a lot of codes for ATI. I'm reading the NCLEX book they gave us for the 3 day review. I'm also doing the NCLEX mastery app and going to purchase UWORLD tomorrow and do that for the remainder until the exam. I'm also in Illinois btw taking the PN.
i passed!! I'm officially an rn!![/quoteCongrats! How many months did you study and what did you used? May I know what's your scores? Thanks in advance.
Thanks! I studied on and off for a month. My school used ATI (which is Nothing like the NCLEX by the way), Saunders, PDA, and uWorld. I really like uWorld, and highly recommend it...it was close to the questions on the NCLEX. I never focused on scores, so I can't even tell you what they were. I was more worried about understanding the material.
I would suggest using more than one source to study from, and read all rationales...even for the ones you got correct.
I live in PA. Took NCLEX this past Friday June 3. The computer shut off after 75 questions. I had one med calculation, one question with tabs to open, multiple choice, and about 25-30 select all that apply. Did the PVT four hours post test and got the red triangle stating I could not sign up to take the test. Redid the PVT 26 hours post test and got the same symbol and message. 48 hours post test (Sun June 5, 2016) was able to view quick view results which said pass. So in my case the PVT held true with what others on all nurses message boards are saying. Good Luck to everyone!
I'm in Texas:
I'm testing June 14th. I graduated May 14th, 2016 and got my ATT on 6/01/16. My classmates received their ATT on May 27th, but mine was delayed til the first of June due to a minor error on my application that the BON had to correct. HOWEVER, I managed to get a test date a full week SOONER than my classmates even though my ATT came after theirs! Go figure! Good luck on NCLEX!
BTW....I did a LIVE Kaplan class and now I do Q-bank questions every few days around working full time. We shall see...... My scores are good, so I should be fine!
