This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.
To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.
Thanks!
Hi I am so scarred I don't know if I can sleep tonight, now I was reading about what Mrs. Suzanne said about math and I am really scarred, because I got 4 math questions that was really complex because they were 4 steps drug calculation. And I recognized all the diseases that I had but my biggest problem is that they're in SATA and I am terrible about that, like some of my SATA I choose 2 some 3 and I think only one I choose 4 so I don't know. I am driving my family crazzy does anyone out there feels the same please respond:yawn:
I wish I had kept up with this thread, I posted way back at the beginning and now I'm a week from my test and very nervous. I'm using Saunders, I'm using Kaplan, and I am very worried about the test. I'm glad to see 40 pages worth of proof that I'm not alone but this is intense.
My question is, how do you pay for the early results service? I might lose my mind if I have to wait for a long time to find out if I passed or not. How early are the results, do you find out immediately or does it still take a few days.

when you done with your test you go to Pearson view web and look on your account, then it will show that you have gone to take your test and it will say test available for review then you pay 7.50 over the internet when you click view results its in red

I am just freaking out, I just wish that today is tomorrow so I can see my results, I have to work tomorrow and I really don't wanna have a bad news while I am at work because I will be crying and I really want to pass this thing, Robin were you going crazy like this, did you worry, did you though for a moment that you didn't passed. I can't stop thinking and that's why I am here so I don't drive my poor family crazy.
Right now, mine says, "Your exam results are not available at this time."I hope I find out before 48. haha
Yes it will be available next day, and that red letter will say exam results available click and it will ask for your credit card number etc then it cost 7.50 over the internet or you can call a number I think it start with 900 then you will pay 9.95.

I took the Kaplan as it was presented by our professors as one of the best and I think it was awesome, It really helped me with my testing strategy.
I did take a mini course of Drexel at the student nursing association Conference this past year and I found the kaplan better
I'm having a much better day today! I just finished question trainer 6 from kaplan and got a 69% on it! They suggest a 65% is what you need on them to pass nclex! Things are looking better for me and I am feeling really confident and good about my test on Saturday! I still have MUCH to do though, but I have a good feeling! I just had to share with those of you who helped me get out of my slump yesterday! Thanks again for your support and encouragement! :heartbeat

Hello to you in NC, I am in the triad area and also a new grad...new RN (Still hard to say:imbar)
I received my ATT on June 5th, took NCLEX on June 7th and verified my license online yesterday - June 17th. North Carolina seems pretty quick once you test. I was told that as long as everthing is complete, it takes 10 to 20 days. Also, NC only issues licenses on Tuesdays and Fridays and the gentleman I spoke to said that they can usually be verified by phone after 5pm on Tuesdays or Fridays. However, online verifications will not be available until the next day.
Congrats to you.
