Hello everyone,
I'm planning to take my test in July and I am doing Suzanne first plan. Is anyone out there thinking taking their test in July please come and help and share ideas..
Thanks
I have a question in refernce to suzanne plan, do i just answer the questions in the back of each chapter or the cd questions for each chapter, i am not clear. I am nervous and i should be taking my nclex in July.
Yes you do the quiz at the end of each chapter and if less than 75% read the chapter and re do the quiz and should get a lot higher %

i test in july 7th
hi! i'm scheduled july 7, supposedly july 1st but i realized that i need at least a week to focus on pharma & brush up on my lab values. i'm using saunder's...july test takers we have a whole month to go..let's be positive! i believe in the power of positive thinking & visualization. i proved it soo many times that whatever we constantly think tends to happen..goodluck everyone!:hrnsmlys:
btw, why dont we make a list of whose gonna take the test on certain dates...
hi
the top 200 drugs can be found at http://www.mosbysdrugconsult.com/DrugConsult/Top_200/ or http://www.nurse.com/drughandbook/top200.html i like the second one because it gives you the most common ones by specialty also. a site that the kaplan teacher recommend was www.rxlist.com.
i am doing questions questions questions and reviewing content area of my weakest points. good luck:up: i am praying for all we all can do it!!!

big thank you! i really appreciate that..pharma, i believe, is my weakest point..i graduated in the philippines and not that familiar with most of the drugs they use here...thanks again!:hrnsmlys:
I hope to be taking my test in July as well. I graduate June 14th. I was wondering about where to begin as far as studying? Should I just go straight into questions or should I review material first?
Since nobody answered you and you asked twice , my advice is to test yourself when doing practice questions...and I believe(and heard from instructors and students) that when you get 80% or more per 100 questions in all areas of content, you are ready for the exam...now you can take that one or leave it:twocents:...but I would first test myself...where you feel weak, study the content real well in that area. I had a year off upon graduating and a few months off since Graduating so it's kicking my behind a bit:devil:, but I'll get through it, we ALL WILL!!!:anpom: Good luck and God bless.
