Hello Everyone! My name is Kim and I have applied to the JJC Nursing Program for the Spring 2016 semester. I took my TEAS V, and scored an 81.3 overall. I was just wondering if there is anyone currently in the program that would be willing to share any tips and advice with new incoming students? Any and all advice is welcome no matter how small it seems. I would like to start preparing myself ahead of time. I am taking classes this semester (finishing A&P II), and I will be working while taking classes. Thanks in advance.

Awesome TEAS score! Congrats! I'm just entering 150. We had orientation today and start our first theory class in a week. From what I do know so far, you can prepare by brushing up on your math skills. I bought a couple of math for nurses books off of Amazon bc they told us at registration in may, to utilize our time off this summer to practice our math skills.
Thanks so much. Good luck with the program. I can't wait to start.

Hello! I'm a second semester student in the program. Great score on the TEAS, your in! Just prepare for a semester of ups and downs. Stay focused, stay prepared, and let everything roll off your back. I can't give any tips prior to beginning. Just enjoy your free time while you have it now before you start. The teachers really care and are there to help you succeed.
