  1. Sounds like a plan, don't give up!
  2. Aaahhh I'm entering 2nd semester and have to take AP2 along with my nursing classes. I'm nervous about this, to say the least. Haha where there's a will there's a way! Def try to get those courses out of the way sooner than later. :)
  3. Have you written the admissions essay? I had a similar score to you, wrote the essay and got in. A friend retook her TEAS and only got 2 points higher than her previous try. She thought it was a waste of $ to retake. But if you study very hard and get an 80, it would be worth it (automatic admission with a TEAS 80 and above).
  4. I had to write the essay also! Just be yourselves and it'll be easy as can be! :) :) :)
  5. Awesome TEAS score! Congrats! I'm just entering 150. We had orientation today and start our first theory class in a week. From what I do know so far, you can prepare by brushing up on your math skills. I bought a couple of math for nurses books off of Amazon bc they told us at registration in may, to utilize our time off this summer to practice our math skills.
  6. Hi guys, I am just starting my first semester of 150 and went through all of these questions recently. Out of almost 300, about 20 were granted admission based on their TEAS score of 80 or above. I'm confident that you'll get a spot and there may be plenty of competitive entry positions available. Our class has 96 students.
  7. Yeah. I hear ya. I'm happy but sad at the same time bc 3 of my friends didn't get in and it's always a bit scarier going in solo lol plus I'm a cna on day shift so I'm nervous about scheduling. But I saw on another thread that classes don't start til 4. Hopefully all will run smoothly! It'll be hard, but nothing worth value comes easily, so let's get r done lol
  8. Hey guys, I am accepted for the evening fall semester at JJC. Someone in my micro class told me about "allnurses" so I decided to check this app out! Glad I did bc I was just creeping through the post and learned some great stuff. :)
  9. I am accepted into the evening program at JJC.
