Here's a thread for anyone who may apply to be be selected to be in the first DNP cohort of the Nurse Anesthesiology program at Johns Hopkins to start May 2020, I hadn't seen one pop up yet.
Per the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs the site visit will take place this fall with an accreditation decision in Spring. As a JHUSON alum, I'm going to throw my proverbial hat in the ring, even with an accreditation decision pending for a new program.
Good luck to anyone else who may be applying. I've lived in Baltimore since I came her for school in 2008, so if anyone from outside of the area has questions about JHH, JHUSON or the city in general I'm happy to help! ?
I was told that once official acceptance emails are sent out next week (I believe it will be Wednesday the 18th), that you only have 2 days to accept and then submit the deposit. Just a guess, but I imagine there being a quick turnaround in notifying those at the top of the waitlist if/when people decline. Not sure if that helps anyone, I just figured the more information out there, the better.
There’s no way there are that many on the waitlist. I know looking at this thread it might seem like a lot, but think about it. If they can only accept 15, it wouldn’t make sense to have a waitlist greater than about 10. But I’m also on the waitlist lol.
Quite frankly, being put on the waitlist for a place that can only accept 15 is a huge accomplishment. All we can do now is wait.. no pun intended

Waitlisted, received an email this afternoon. I'm three for three for waitlists, so if anyone needs any advice on how to master getting waitlisted, I'm your gal ??
