Here's a thread for anyone who may apply to be be selected to be in the first DNP cohort of the Nurse Anesthesiology program at Johns Hopkins to start May 2020, I hadn't seen one pop up yet.
Per the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs the site visit will take place this fall with an accreditation decision in Spring. As a JHUSON alum, I'm going to throw my proverbial hat in the ring, even with an accreditation decision pending for a new program.
Good luck to anyone else who may be applying. I've lived in Baltimore since I came her for school in 2008, so if anyone from outside of the area has questions about JHH, JHUSON or the city in general I'm happy to help! ?

Would you be able to share any details or information they may have given you about the program (like accreditation, class size, etc)
Good luck and congrats on landing that interview!
Accreditation confirmation is expected in the Spring, per my interviewer, the COA visit was conducted recently and they meet sometime in the Spring (see link below). Cohort size was estimated at 10-15 students.

I really appreciated the web-based interview format, it helped me to be much more comfortable being able to do it from home and allowed me to open up a bit more easily. Also, you don't really have to wear pants if you don't want to. ?
Definitely liked the interview format--so convenient and comfortable being at home and allowed me to shake my nerves out more so than usual.
I was told that interviews will go into the first week of December and decision emails will be sent out the third week of December.
Good luck, everyone. ?
@HappyCCRN1 Do you know if all interview invitations have been sent out? I have not heard anything yet (rejection/interview invite)
Are applicants being invited to interview and interview takes place the next day or so?

When I interviewed they mentioned interviews would be running until the first week of December and that invitations would be sent out mid or 3rd week of December.

I received an invitation to interview on a Thursday and when I called to schedule, there were multiple slots available the following week. So pretty quickly from invite to actual interview. I know I received an invitation after others had interviewed.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure if they have all been sent out or not, I did not receive any indication one way or another. Just that interviews would go into the first week of December. Because of the webmail interview format, it seems like they have the ability to invite and then interview fairly quickly.
Best of luck!
