Here's a thread for anyone who may apply to be be selected to be in the first DNP cohort of the Nurse Anesthesiology program at Johns Hopkins to start May 2020, I hadn't seen one pop up yet.
Per the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs the site visit will take place this fall with an accreditation decision in Spring. As a JHUSON alum, I'm going to throw my proverbial hat in the ring, even with an accreditation decision pending for a new program.
Good luck to anyone else who may be applying. I've lived in Baltimore since I came her for school in 2008, so if anyone from outside of the area has questions about JHH, JHUSON or the city in general I'm happy to help! ?
Got my rejection email yesterday. It’s all good though, this just wasn’t the school I’m meant to be at! Congratulations to everyone that got accepted and best of luck to you all!
If anyone receives a letter in the mail, there is a chance that it is a holiday card from the Office of Admissions at JH. It gave me a heart attack when I first saw it - cuz I haven’t gotten an email or anything yet.

I checked in with the Admissions Office today based on the fact that some acceptance calls had been made and was told that they the committee sends decisions in batches and decisions will be announced throughout the remainder of the month. Just wanted to share with anyone still waiting (like me). Happy Holidays, all! ?

They had also told me second or third week of December. Haven’t heard anything yet, waiting !
