   I kind of did a lot. I completely re-wrote my essay, got involved in some unit and hospital-based research projects, shadowed more, changed up my LORs and enrolled in a biochemistry course.

   Don’t get discouraged! I didn’t receive an interview last year and thought I had no shot this year since I was a re-applicant, but I got an interview. If you want it, you’ll get it. It just is going to take some extra work.

    I moved from MD to CA and applied for my license around the time when all nursing school grads would be applying as well (terrible timing, I know) and it only took like 3-4 months to get my license. There's no need to apply so early!
