I'm so happy I found that site! I also applied to the Johns Hopkins ABSN program, and I've been nervous because I haven't heard anything. When I reached out to admissions about if my A&P class qualifies, one of the admissions officers wanted to know when I'll have the other classes complete, but that's the only correspondence I've heard from them.

I'm also applying for the Direct Entry MSN program! App deadline was extended to 1/15

Hi everyone! I applied to the MSN FNP (I'll graduate with my BSN this may), but I've been invited to interview! Has anyone interviewed already with Hopkins and know what kinds of questions they ask? Thanks!

ND_Irish specializes in Cardiology, Critical Care, Pediatrics.

Hi all! I am a current student in the ABSN program. I remember being in your shoes not so long ago... let me know/ PM me if you have any questions!

Hi everyone!! I've also applied to the pre-licensure master's entry program. Did i read correctly that they won't be holding interviews for this program? I was reading back from Nov/Dec posts and I saw someone emailed admissions about it.

Yes, no interviews.

@ND_Irish - Thanks so much for coming on here to offer support- much appreciated! I have an endless number of questions for you, but I'll start with this one: I took a tour of the school last year and I vaguely remember some mention of ABSN students becoming certified as CNAs at a certain point in the curriculum- am I recalling that possibility correctly? If so, could you please share a little bit more about that option? Thank you!

I got an email this morning, telling me I got in (to the ABSN program). I wasn't expecting a decision so soon, but I did submit my application in early October so maybe that had something to do with it. Not sure.

Sending positive thoughts to everyone!

Congratulations, bd33! I applied to the direct entry MSN program. I've received an email reminder from the financial aid office two or three days ago but I think that was sent to everyone who had applied to the nursing department. I submitted my admissions application really close to the deadline. Still waiting.... ☺

Congrats bd33! Thanks for letting us know. This waiting is horrible!

accepted for ABSN program! i can't decide between MGH and Hopkins... the deposit for MGH is due today!

Accepted in the ABSN nursing program!! I got the email today! Sending good thoughts to everyone!!

@jess674, PublicHealthNurse1 -- the wait is really awful... It seems that accepted students in previous years were notified over the span of a few days (and not all on the same day), so no news definitely does not mean bad news.

I hope you both get good news soon!

@jess674 did you apply to ABSN program or masters. If it's masters they probably release later

@charming_kitty I applied to the ABSN program. I applied within the deadline but right at the end. I wonder if that will negatively impact my application

I have no news as well....hoping that's a good sign!! I called admissions and asked and they stated that they send out admissions decisions over a span of a few days! Good luck to everyone and check your mailboxes!!

Also did anyone get rejected?! And how did they notify you if you were?

I got my e-mail and a call this morning. I got accepted! Very satisfying feeling to have gotten into Johns Hopkins. Of course, I won't be accepting the offer because I'm already in a nursing program. Congrats to everyone else who got accepted, too!
