Johns Hopkins 2015 ABSN & Masters Entry

This thread is for applicants applying to Johns Hopkins, for either the ABSN or the new Master's Entry program. I've searched a few times and haven't found a thread for this year's admissions cycle, so I decided to start one.

After lots of thinking, I decided to apply to the Master's Entry instead of the ABSN. Anyone else out there applying?

I'm also applying to the ABSN program this year. My last recommender just sent in my letter so it is now all complete! I want to feel relieved but I'm extremely nervous. It sounds like we are going to have a competitive pool this year!

Is anyone participating in the online Master's Entry chat right now?

I am and apparently there will not be interviews for this program. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

my application status just says submitted. does anyone have their application "in review" already?

I just checked my status and it shows that my application was submitted on 10/26 completed on 10/31 and it shows that they have received my transcripts and recommendations. My status still says submitted though. I called the admissions office maybe a week ago and they said that decisions won't be made until Feb/March I was shocked, I figured it would have been sooner.

Same with the Master's Entry program; we won't hear anything until Feb or March

I read some of the previous threads and for some reason I thought we would find out in Dec/Jan. I guess that was just for early decision

Perhaps 11/1 used to be the "priority" deadline. But the website now says the deadline is 11/1.
