This thread is for applicants applying to Johns Hopkins, for either the ABSN or the new Master's Entry program. I've searched a few times and haven't found a thread for this year's admissions cycle, so I decided to start one.
After lots of thinking, I decided to apply to the Master's Entry instead of the ABSN. Anyone else out there applying?
@ND_Irish - Thanks so much for coming on here to offer support- much appreciated! I have an endless number of questions for you, but I'll start with this one: I took a tour of the school last year and I vaguely remember some mention of ABSN students becoming certified as CNAs at a certain point in the curriculum- am I recalling that possibility correctly? If so, could you please share a little bit more about that option? Thank you!
Congratulations, bd33! I applied to the direct entry MSN program. I've received an email reminder from the financial aid office two or three days ago but I think that was sent to everyone who had applied to the nursing department. I submitted my admissions application really close to the deadline. Still waiting.... ☺

I'm so happy I found that site! I also applied to the Johns Hopkins ABSN program, and I've been nervous because I haven't heard anything. When I reached out to admissions about if my A&P class qualifies, one of the admissions officers wanted to know when I'll have the other classes complete, but that's the only correspondence I've heard from them.
