Johns Hopkins 2015 ABSN & Masters Entry

This thread is for applicants applying to Johns Hopkins, for either the ABSN or the new Master's Entry program. I've searched a few times and haven't found a thread for this year's admissions cycle, so I decided to start one.

After lots of thinking, I decided to apply to the Master's Entry instead of the ABSN. Anyone else out there applying?

@jess674, PublicHealthNurse1 -- the wait is really awful... It seems that accepted students in previous years were notified over the span of a few days (and not all on the same day), so no news definitely does not mean bad news.

I hope you both get good news soon!

@charming_kitty I applied to the ABSN program. I applied within the deadline but right at the end. I wonder if that will negatively impact my application

I have no news as well....hoping that's a good sign!! I called admissions and asked and they stated that they send out admissions decisions over a span of a few days! Good luck to everyone and check your mailboxes!!

Also did anyone get rejected?! And how did they notify you if you were?

I got my e-mail and a call this morning. I got accepted! Very satisfying feeling to have gotten into Johns Hopkins. Of course, I won't be accepting the offer because I'm already in a nursing program. Congrats to everyone else who got accepted, too!
