I am not from New York...but being a young college graduate, she probably needs a job...and about the partying...she was in college. She did what most college students do- have fun. She just had the unfortunate situation of having cameras following her and being the president's daughter. Some of the best docs/nurses/teachers, etc that I know, partied it up in college. It does not mean that she won't be a good teacher. Give the girl a break and a chance.

I could be missing something, but why would seeking employment be considered a bush stunt???

Your point is understandable but I still think it's a Bush hoax. Suddenly the twins are hitting the campaign trail for daddy. They don't fool me!

I agree with you . . .I had to wince as I read these comments. I have a son who is in college majoring in History and will teach in high school. There are very few jobs available right now. Inner city schools are offering bonuses as they are really hurting. How in the world can it hurt anyone to have a good teacher in an inner city school?

Shall we start dissing Chelsea's supposed plastic surgery that is plastered all over the Enquirer? Maybe it was a publicity stunt to sell more of her father's books.

I think politician's kids should be left alone to live their lives.

i hope she does teach there public service is what she grew up with and laura bush i like allot seems to be a real lady, not saying i don't like the other wives not heard much out of them yet saw mrs kerry on larry king she seemed kinda fake but didn't watch long enough to make a judgement. haven't had the time to watch much tv so haven't seen mrs edwards

For those of you who are not in NYC, have you seen Harlem in the last few years? Its being rejuvenated back to its glory days. If she lived in Harlem, her Daddy would have to pay her rent cause she wouldnt be able to afford an apt there on a teachers salary. I hope she comes and teaches Math or Science - we have a shortage of teachers for those subjects.

I hope she finds the job she is looking for...perhaps a little reality about the family life of many of the children in Harlem would bring a new perspective to the Republican Party.
