Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

I applied last week for the night/weekend program. Fall is the most competitive and Night/Weekend is even more competitive than that! Applied with 191.5 points. I'll be shocked to get accepted but still keeping my fingers crossed!

Last year the cutoff for night and weekend was about 184, or at least that's the lowest score I heard from my friends. I had about the same as you. I think you stand a very good chance of getting in. Good luck!

1 week until I take the TEAS! I cannot think about anything else. How did all of you do?

I got an 85% and I'm super happy about it. :) How about you?

The bad news is that three of my pre-reqs did not transfer so I have to take Bio 1, Bio 2 and Micro. again before I can apply. Ugh. So I will not be applying for the fall.

I got 72%... Which is better than I expected considering I did not study! I thought I was going to have to retake it, but I am not going to now. I will have plenty of points to apply with thankfully. I have an A in Bio 2 right now, and as long as I can keep that two more weeks I'm looking at applying for fall with 209 points. If I end up with a B I'll apply with 199 points. Both if which I'm happy with! I'm sorry your grades didn't transfer. Did they say why?

I applied for night/weekend starting this fall. I applied with 191.5 points. Very nervous! I can't find anywhere or anyone who knows what the cut off was for last year. I know it's a little bit more competitive than the full time program seeing as you can only apply once a year. June can't get here soon enough!! So ready for this wait to be over!!

I think you should apply! I think last years cut off was high 180's. I am applying when my final grades are in. Depending on Anatomy 2, whether I make an A or a B, I'll be applying with 199 or 209 points. Which campus are you applying at?

Wow good for you!

Yes it all depends on A&P2! 193 or 203 for me. I am going to apply for Shelby campus.

Someone told me, if you apply for more than one campus, you may have a higher chance of being accepted because other campuses may not have as many students applying and will accept lower scores.
