Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

I'm just going to review for it all. This time I'm pretty sure to hopefully enough to get me in this fall term.

Be sure and attach a print out of your TEAS scores with your application when applying. I didn't at first and had to go back and submit the application a second time.

I'm applying and really stressing out. I have three different transcripts and all it would take for me to not get in is for someone to not pay attention to the chronology of them. I take the teas on April 16th. I've been studying like crazy. Glad to have found this group! Hopefully we all get in!

I wasn't trying to say not to take your advice kbrooke93, just saying what worked for me and how I felt about the test. I personally wouldn't do good on the science portion whether I studied for it or not because I am not familiar with the material. I was just offering my opinion....

I'm applying for the part time program at Shelby this fall. I have all the non-nursing classes done. I'm applying with a 186 and really nervous. If I don't get in this fall, I'll have to wait a whole year to apply again...ugh

I am taking my teas test for the 2nd time in May and Hopefully I will get the % that I want. I am sad since I had to drop my Bio 201 class due to the teacher taking away a lot of things that she had planned for us. That snow storm in Jan 2014 changed a lot. I will be taking it over this summer, I hope it will not hurt my chances of getting in the program this fall 2014. All that is left is my the Bio's and I am done with my pre-reqs. I am praying that I get in.

I have a question about applying - I just sent in my application for the Night/Weekend program and did not send in transcripts from high school and the other college I attended because Jeff State already has that on file (I don't have a degree so I didn't fill out the college part of the application) Will I have to get copies of them or will they accept my application without those items since I'm already a student?

1 week until I take the TEAS! I cannot think about anything else. How did all of you do?

Sorry I just saw this! No, I saw on the Summer 2014 thread where they told them cutoff was usually pretty low. I have a 178 right now, (before I retake my TEAS in a couple of weeks) and I wish I would have thought about applying for then!
