Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

Thanks! I will probably apply at Jefferson and Shelby campuses. I would really prefer Jefferson though.. It's only 10 min from my house!

Less than a week I will be testing for the teas exam. Why is it this is all I can think of. I scored 55% when l took it in march. Hoping to make 70% or better this time. Taking online practice part Monday. Has anyone else taken the teas recently. If so how did u do.

I used the official TEAS study guide and two of their practice tests. It really helped. I scored an 81.3%. That was my only attempt. After taking the practice test, I focused on my weak areas by reading the study guide. I'm actually trying to sell the TEAS study guide if you're interested.

I retook the TEAS on Thursday and made the exact same score....really?? Haha. I ended up making a B in A&P 2 so I'm applying with a lot less points than I wanted but we'll see.

The online practice or the book @ hayloftbham. I have teas v study guide and the v teas practice test from McGraw Hill. I'm very nervous. To the point I'm starting to panic. I take the teas exam Thursday at Jeff state Shelby campus. I want study the night before like I did last time. The week of testing how did you all do. I'm so nervous but math is better science is what I'm hoping I can improve the last time I had 48% I did really good in anatomy but I'm trying to at least hit the upper 60 or above

Hi everybody! I'm new here, and glad I found this thread! I'm waiting on my math grade, but if I get what I'm expecting I'll be applying for the night/weekend program with 210 points :) I'm incredibly nervous! I'm taking BIO202 over the summer and was worried the 30 missing points on my app would ruin my chances but I feel pretty hopeful now :) good luck everybody!

Thank you! I just got my final grade and I will have the 210 points :) if only I could have taken bio 202 first, then I would have 240... But, I feel pretty good about 210! Who all here is applying for nights/weekends at Shelby?

Junebug, how in the world is your score so high with missing 30 points?! You must have done amazing on the TEAS! I know you'll get in! ?

I got a 93.3% on the TEAS! I took it once and used the 5 TEAS Practice Tests book.

That's awesome! I know I could have done better if I had studied, but I am happy with my score considering! I was taking 4 classes so no time to study ?

I feel ya! I was taking 4 classes as well, but I don't work. I stay home with my almost-2-year-old and I'm actually due with baby 2 in October (glad it will be before clinicals!) the past few months have been utter insanity lol
