Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls
Is anybody else pregnant or planning to be? I know it's not *ideal* to have a baby while in school but I'm due before clinicals start and we tried for over a year for this baby-it turns out I have endometriosis that was causing the issue got pregnant 3 weeks after the surgery to remove it :) my hubs works days so we won't even need a sitter/daycare and this is baby 2 so we know what to expect (no sleep, leaky boobs etc.) I'm just nervous about showing up for my first day of class looking like I'm about to pop lol.
Just turned my application in with 203 points. Unfortunately, I have a 2.7 gpa. Because I have failed classes from a few years ago(when I really didn't care). I think some of it does contribute to my last
24 hours. I have all A's now though! I just really hope that doesn't come back to bite me. Advisor told me not to worry, but I'm worried!

I think you'll be ok! You're above the minimum and I thing GPA only really comes into play if you're right on the line for cutoff with a bunch of others. With over 200 points I would think you'll be far enough above the cutoff to be safe :)

Wow that's great! I don't work either, but I do have two boys ages 6 and 4, so I go to school and study all day, and do extra curricular activities and homework with them in the evening. That is amazing you had the time to do it all with a 2 year old running around though ? good luck in the fall, I know you'll make it!!
