Jay Leno slams nurses!

I *just* watched Jay Leno make a really rude comment about nurses- it went something to the effect of... " you know nurses are the most overworked profession in America... especially in those adult movies" GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

I watched it too . . . . I just had to chuckle. What kind of a doctor lowers herself to "talk trash' to a patient? I thought that negative connotation beat the "nurses as Media" stereotype all to heck.
The other story line about the girl needing her soul back before surgery - that was interesting.
Not too sure about the open heart surgery in an elevator though.
It is merely entertainment - I enjoyed it. I like the music in the background too. I think the voiceover's can get a bit irritating though.

Oh, I do enjoy the show a lot, it's one of my favorites; it was just that one thing this time that irritated me. However I didn't think about the Media from that perspective :) good point.

HMMM. Looks like one of the "7th floor" Nurses escaped again (thats our psych floor).

I go to political boards ro read this kind of paranoia, when I'm feeling up to wading through all the 'tin-hatters' to see what makes their little world tick.

Perhaps this topic has run its course. I don't know. It's just sad that when a few questionable posters hijack a thread, we let them. Why should this thread (or any other that hasn't become an unsalvageable free-for-all) be shut down? Why aren't the offenders shown the virtual door and blocked from re-entering that topic?

I'm not sure this topic has much life left in it, but I still would rather see it die of exhaustion and inattention than have the unsanctioned actions of an ill-manered minority be allowed to kill it.
