January 2008 NCLEX support thread

Aspiringone --- That is sooooo what I needed this AM. I believe that I will read your post daily just to reassure and empower myself even more. I know we can do it with the strength of Christ by our side. The last day of review class was yesterday and I'm really glad I took it because it refreshed my memory on some disorders s/s that I may have forgotten or just said to myself "ok, yes, that's right". So I'm praying my ATT will come soon and I plan to take it either the last week in Dec. or the first week of Jan. before I start my prereqs for RN. Good Luck again to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a few questions actually...

1. How long does it usually take for your ATT Letter to come? We are getting ours via email, does that mean it comes faster?

2. How often do they test? Are there a lot of test dates?

I have a job offer, but in order to start, we have to have an unofficial pass letter (printed from the website) prior to Feb. 1st. Is this possible???? I hope so!

I am not taking my test in January but your prayer was just what I need to read. I am taking my test in December but that date is still up in the air. I know now seven is the number of completion and I know that God will be with us as we end the year of completion as well. So that we will go into the year with new beginnings. I know God hear, see and know all about each one of us and I will be praying for the New beginning people as well. God is a just and fair God and he may not come when we want him, but he will come on time. Lets just continue to pray and lift each other up during this journey. Thanks again for posting a wonderful prayer.

We come to you right now just to say thank you. Lord...we give you honor and glory and the praise for the opportunity to serve as "caregivers" to the wounded, ill, blind and challenged. God you are the one who brought us this far. We know that you will never ever leave us alone. We cast our cares upon you. You are glorious and you said we shall be victorious. 8 is the number of "new beginnings". 2008 you said you will raise up a new generation of Nurses, Leaders and Warriors. Lord be with those of my sisters who are experiencing any finanical hardships. Provide for them and their households. I command it right now. Do It Father in Your Precious and Holy Name. Give us a spirit of calm and peace to weather the storm. It is all in your purpose for our lives and our calling to touch others who need healthcare.

I'll be testing for the RN NCLEX in January as well. I took the PN last year, so at least I know what to expect. Good luck all!

This group is a great thing. The reassurance is great. I found out I failed the nclex this morning, and will be elgible to test again the third week of Jan. I'm starting Suzanne's plan today, and am determined to passs the second time around. I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason, and nothing comes before its time. So we all will make it with faith, hard work, and determination.

Does anyone know if the BON has questions about your application will they contact you or how will you know that its the BON that's holding you up from getting your ATT? I'm not sure if the DON at the school I graduated from has sent over the rest of our paperwork yet, but she claimed she was going to do it soon. We finished the review class on Thursday and I was hoping she would've confirmed that we graduated with Pearson by now. I'm guessing God is teaching me patience.
