January CEP applicants?

Published

Hi fellow students! I am applying to the CEP program for the Summer 2016 start (NAU)- I know the deadline is coming up January 30... just wondering who else is applying/has applied, and how you're feeling? Excited to start? Nervous you won't get accepted (like ME!)? Just wanted to say "hi" and get connected!

No, I'm in the CEP program; arc1 was correct. I will start with UIU this summer, then GWCC traditional this fall. :) Sorry for any confusion!

Of course! That makes sense! Good for you!

Was that your CEP application or your nursing application sent in on the Jan 21

CEP application. My nursing application was completed in November and I received my time stamp on Dec. 8th.

Congratulations! I am so anxious now because I also applied at EMCC! I DEFINITELY do not want Phoenix College so I hope that doesn't mean that that is all that is left!

Honestly, I think the advisor at EMCC only called me because I did not get into my first or second choice. If you have not heard from her I think you may have gotten into EMCC. I live in Surprise and I am not looking forward to the drive nor all the construction on Bell and Grand. EMCC would have been so nice but hey the program is only for two years. Anyway, Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Which campus are you going to?

Thank you!! I also live in Surprise but we will have the option of either moving in with my parents (not my fave since I'm married but sometimes it's gotta be done) in Verrado or moving out east if I get in out there. We shall see!

Congrats to everyone! I'm in Block 1 at GWCC (evenings) with UIU! If anyone at GWCC or UIU has any questions, feel free to message me. :)

I guess the big question's on my mind right now are: 1. How do you study for both UIU and GWCC 2. I know UIU is broke up into eight week classes, but are they hard? I just want to mentally prepare myself. I went online for my first bachelors, and I'm going to do the same same for my second. 3. Where do you do your clinical's at right now?

Thanks :)

Did anybody hear back today?? Im still waiting. Wah! Poor me. Lol í ½í¸¢

I am just guessing here, but I bet that a lot of the BA degree online work is essay format. I am not 100%, but it is usually how it is. So the BA degree work is not as much studying as it is research and application. Again, not 100% on this, but just an educated guess!

Nope - not yet! Are you taking any classes right now, or are you done?

I'm unsure of UIU but ASU it's writing Disscution boards, and papers here and there. I have a few small quizzes but nothing you have to study for.

At least for ASU they know we have a full load with our Block work that they work with us on due dates and all that. ASU actually put all of us that started block 1 this spring in the same class and made it 16 weeks instead of an 8 week class so they could spread out the assignments.

I'm done. I finished everything last semester when I was supposed to apply to the ASU post bacc program. I got my titters and cpr card and everything bc they make u do it before you apply.
