  1. Yea i would. We have the best technology. Our building is a mini hospital. I feel like we are getting real life experience. Just be prepared to read and teach yourself.
  2. Hi! I'm currently in block 1 at PC! PC was my last choice too. I applied to emcc and gcc but didn't get into the either. The building and location is amazing! The only thjng that sucks is the parking. It is a class of 80 students too so not so much one on one time but there is open lab with an instructor and labs days are broken up into 4 groups of 20 students. I choose to attend Phoenix college bc I just wanted to be done with school. I didn't want to waste another semester waiting. If you want the truth, I would say about 1/2 the class is failing which is below a 76 percent. I heard that last semester over half the students failed block 1 at the end and only 4 got to rejoin my class. It's hard regardless bc you grade is based on exams only. You must get a 76% in all exams to pass. The program seems to be all over the place. There are so many instructors each with a different input, teaching style, etc. each instructor makes their own questions for the exam. some instructors I find easy and some I find hard. In this program I feel like you have to take responsibility for your own learning. Some info is taught in class but we have to read and learn about the other half on our own. We had our block 2 orientation already and those teachers seem more organized. I hope this helps you make your desicion!
  3. Anyone hear anything from PC yet? Some people are registered for Block one already
  4. That's really good to hear! PC was not my first choice. Do you live around Phoenix?
  5. Its nice to meet you too! Your the first PC student I have met! Congratulations. Do you know anything about PC?
  6. Thank you! I have been searching for this board for some time now but I was never able to find it. Do you mind sharing the link?
  7. I had trouble with that too. I just put nursing BSN and I selected the first campus that popped up, can not remember the name, I just know i did not select the Tuscon campus. I was confused that the application was for the spring semester and not for fall; there was no fall option on the drop box. Hopefully this does not effect anything.
  8. Hey guys! I just got accepted into the Phoenix College/NAU CEP program for Fall 2016 (university start for summer 2016) and I was wondering if anyone out there has been accepted as well. I have yet to find anyone in the same boat but I am looking forward to meeting some of my fellow classmates :).
  9. I applied at EMCC too! Gcc was my second choice. I did not get into either school. Instead I was placed at Phoenix College. I did not have a third choice but i just took it anyway. I had a 3.8 GPA, Associates/AGEC, 90 in math and 90 in english and i still did not get placed. Hopefully you have better luck than i did. I really do not know how exactly they place people. GL to you. Phoenix college sent out their emails on thursday.
  10. NAU/Phoenix College. Not many people from PC have posted any info. I have no idea what the schedule is like or how they run things. :/
  11. Honestly, I think the advisor at EMCC only called me because I did not get into my first or second choice. If you have not heard from her I think you may have gotten into EMCC. I live in Surprise and I am not looking forward to the drive nor all the construction on Bell and Grand. EMCC would have been so nice but hey the program is only for two years. Anyway, Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
  12. I got accepted into NAU/PC CEP :)))). PC was not on my list actually but I will take it haha! I am so happy for you! congrats! I know nothing about the PC program but I am so grateful! Good luck to everyone else. you should be hearing soon. PS the adviser at my first choice EMCC is the one who called me and I had to personally accept placement at PC. I never received an official email ( the one where i need to sign and deliver within 2 weeks. I think those are coming next week or next month!)
  13. Mine is 08/06/15 8:00:54. On some of the other forums i have read, It seems like everyone who had gotten placed for spring 2015 had time stamps of Feb. 2015. Are you doing the CEP route or are you sticking to just the AA route?
  14. Well I hope my issues have been cleared up! I really have a feeling that my application was lost. Gosh but that really does stink. Even though its only a semester, a semester is so long when you want to hurry up and get started. Students before had one specific date to turn in their application and they heard back within 2 weeks. Hopefully we hear back soon because I can not wait any longer. So anxious!
  15. Thank you so much that helps out! I really hope I get into EMCC. I live in Surprise and the drive would be a breeze! Is the nursing website still down? It has been down for several months now. Anyway GL to you! Let us know if you get in.
