Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?
I just finished my CEU's. I did mine on CEUfast.com the only thing is TBOSHAHEP certificate is 1 hour short of meeting the requirements. I took that one yesterday at BC. Last year I did the requirements all through BC, but they told me that since they are a year old I had to redo them. CEUfast is accredited with Florida Board of Nursing. I paid $29.95 for the year vs. 60 something bucks. I would recommend this site. However you can try Nursing Unlimited and Vital for Life. (google) CPR cards can be done at these places as well. Make sure it says BLS (I know for sure Vital for Life has BLS cards).

Can we turn in our binders before the campus orientation? my email for north said to bring it that day.. Also, i read we open the sealed fingerprint envelope.. did anyone do that yet im scared.
We are not suppose to open the envelop. Does anyone know a good shoes brand? I want something comfortable..

I'm not sure about turning in the binder before orientation. Contact the lady whose number is listed at the bottom.
