Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?
When you go to the figure-printing place during their walk in hours does it take long to be helped and how long is the process ?
I got confused with "figure printing". Lol. Finger printing took me about 1 hour. Get there before 2 because they close for lunch and you have to wait an hour to even sign in!!! Hope that helps. :)

Sorry. Forgot to add that the process took 15-20 minutes so you're looking at maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes total depending on the amount of people waiting. When I went this summer there were people waiting outside as well so don't be surprised by a little longer of a wait of you go around lunch time.
Has anyone purchase the Orientation packet for South? I know that the Term 2 is not out yet, but at least for Term 1 (August 2013). I would like to know what the uniform policy is, more so the dress code. I went to the bookstore and I seen the usual scrubs as well as the a blue polo shirt as well as white. Can someone with the South campus orientation packet help? Thanks a bunch...
So does anyone know how we go about making copies of the fingerprinting receipt for the binder/folder since all the info is in a sealed envelope? thanks

The finger printing tech should have gave you a receipt. He gave me a receipt and the receptionist gave me a separate envelope.
