I have learned that I seem to be the "Go To" when my AN friends are butt tired and need a post posted...and I like that.

I've learned that I miss the girls (and guy) on the School Nurse Forum.

I've learned that tomatoes are hardy.

I've learned that tears help sometimes.

I've learned that my mom is one of the strongest people I know.

Hmmm, I haven't learned much, but the week is still young.

I'm sure ixchel will check in. No worries. In the meantime...What have you learned this week?

I think I'm in withdrawal from working.

Going from working 50 to 60 hours a week as a Nurse manager back to part-time floor nurse has left me feeling discombobulated and feeling I don't know what to do with the extra time off. I'll be glad when school starts up next week.

I love olives, btw. A nice salty bite.

Today I learned...

1. I really can survive on one cup of coffee and 1/4 of a Caesar salad.

2. Doing so will give me the headache from HELLLLL.

3. Vomiting stool is not just a thing from my nightmares. It happens. And it is terrifyingly grotesque.

4. A hot shower will not make it all better.

I'm going crazy being back in school, really crazy. Or maybe it's this stupid discussion.

WHAT?! I really don't know. Plagiarism is bad, YO! Don't do it.

Oh & my A&P teacher is all about dem PDFs, dem PDFs, no word files!

I already typed up the rough draft of the discussion post. It's the same thing for both classes I'm in. They *reeeeeallly* don't want you to plagiarize!!!

I learned:

A kid screaming during an IV insertion that suddenly vomits like a volcano is very...interesting;

That I have set the bar high for orientees and "new" nurses for some reason-still not sure whether that is good or bad yet;

May precious few days off can be filled with unexpected surprises and experiences;

Daydreaming and virtual transporting to the place one plans to vacation is the best way to center yourself while working serious overtime. :D
