Ivy Tech Spring 2011 Applicants

Hey, just seeing who's on here that will be applying with me. I'm applying to Muncie, Kokomo, and Ft. Wayne. I feel like this is all I think about already. I'm retaking a couple of pre reqs this summer to improve my score. I've already taken the teas but will probably retake it as I only received an 83. I've also attended all the nursing info sessions. What is everybody else doing to prepare? I'm so paranoid about forgetting something! I'm looking forward to talking with people in the same boat. Or if anyone who has already applied wants to share advice, I'd gladly listen!

I'm nervous too! I retake the TEAS on the 23th to hopefully raise my grade. I just want in so bad! Finally, I have figured out what I want to do with my life and I just hope I don't have to put it on hold. Fingers crossed we all get in!

Oh good luck! Where will you be applying to? How'd you do on your pre reqs? Does this consume the majority of your thoughts too?

I have all A's and an 80 currently on my TEAS, but I will raise that! I am apply everywhere! Valpo, Gary, Indy, Anderson, and Muncie...my goal is to take what I get!! I just want to start the program. I went to IU and got my BA already, so now I finally know what I really want;)

Oh and yes..I think about it a lot! I work 50 hrs a weeks so I stay pretty busy too. I am also taking Microbio this Fall to help past the time.

Awesome grades. I'm only applying for lpn but unfortunetly, I have 2 A's and 2 B's so my odds of getting in are exremely low. I'm trying to stay positive but I feel very discouraged!

All you can do is stay positive. It depends on who applies with you. I'm apply for both RN and LPN and will take whatever! What campus are you applying to??

Hey everyone! I used this site to help me with my Teas. I took it twice. first time I got an 88, the second time I got a 91! Everyone keeps telling me it's a good score and not to worry about it, but I'm soooo worried the cut-off score is going to get higher.

I'm only applying to lawrence for RN. Getting my transcript was a pain though, because I was home schooled. Everyone ready to apply?

Hey all! I applied for the LPN to RN transition program in Lafayette for this spring. If I don't get in, I'll apply to Valpo for Summer '11, because they don't have a spring transition start. Hopefully I'll get into Lafayette - I don't know if it's harder or easier to get into the transition program, but I have 4 A's & a 92 on the TEAS, but I don't get the region points, so I'm not sure..
