Can you believe that we are now in our 3rd semester girl! I'm so thankful I met you;)

Hi Everyone! I'm so glad I found this post..you are all so positive. I am also starting nursing school this Jan. I'm also very nervous because I am quiting a job and basically drastically changing my life to do this. I have a BS and MS already, but really always wanted to be a nurse. I guess I am most nervous about the unknown, since I haven't started yet I have no idea what NS is like. I have talked to several people and some are positive and other very negative. I guess I need to just relax and dive in! I just got the "Tess Success" book and can't wait to look at it now. So it seems like you would all agree that NS is very doable..just time consuming?

Hello Everyone! I'm taking my TEAS Feb. 16th! Thanks for all the great information. I also purchased the study guide and have definitely learned a lot over the past few weeks. The guide will brush up your skills in Science and Math. I think for me personally, I just needed to review the problems and formulas. I'm trying not to stress too much because as long as you study and relax you should be fine. I'm looking forward to just getting it over with! I do have one question...what section do you feel like you ran out of time? The review does not tell you how much time you have for each section. Thanks!

I think you can do whatever you put your mind to. Your past is done...if you want it then study hard and you will get it. You should go online and research what a nurse does and see if you can see yourself doing it as a career. You can at least take one class such as A&P 1 and see what you think. Good Luck!
