This is the "Not In" thread, or for anyone that's planning on applying for Spring Semester by the Sept 1st deadline.

We need love too! :loveya:

My Boring Stats:

A's in prereq's except ANP 2...taking that class now.

Horribly embarrassing TEAS at 76, still have two more tries. (Which is why I'm taking math and phys sci this summer. lol)

Hope to get into the Bloomington or Terre Haute programs. (Yay! Greene county gets region pts at both. lol)

Currently frazzling myself out with 5 online classes

It's nice to meet you....whoever you are....

Happy Birthday to you and your son too! Looking forward to seeing you again, us turkey babies need to stick together! :hbsmiley:

The year my son was born the 24th was the day before Thanksgiving, so I had hospital cafeteria turkey dinner that year which actually wasn't half bad! Then when he turned 6, his b-day was on T-day. My b-day will never be on T-day because it's never as late as the 30th.

Thank you Misty Miss...just printed it off.

Hey! I hope everyone is doing well. I have a quick question though, has anyone gotten sick from taking any of the vaccines? I got my Tdap and Hep B vaccine done last night. Today my stomach is cramping and I have been having stomach issues all day. I was fine last night, but today is another story. Hopefully whatever this is will resolve itself and I will be back to normal tomorrow. How are things going for everyone?

I just got my Tdap and Hep B yesterday too! I haven't had any symptoms other than REALLY sore arms, though! The two might not be related, but you know your body best, so it couldn't hurt to call your doc if you think something might be wrong. Hopefully it will pass and you'll feel better soon.

About the vaccine records, I am thinking I'll ask my doc for copies of the shot records that I gave her in order for her to sign my form, just in case the school has to have those on file as well. I didn't have to get my second MMR because I had the separate measles, mumps and rubella vaccines when I was one--I guess they didn't have the "bundled" vaccine at that point--and then the bundled MMR before high school. My doctor said it would be sufficient and she signed-off on it, so hopefully that will work.

Still dreading going to the bookstore for the scrubs! I also need to work on ordering my books--Thanks for that list of updated editions in your prior post, Chris!

And Happy Birthday to you both, Chris and Kim--I never even paid attention to the ages in our posts, so I had no idea!

I printed mine off and actually made an appt. and took it in there to talk to her about some things. I don't think that they do anything but collect it in the packet of information that we turn in cus she handed it right back to me. They may or may not get it sent to them, but she kind of looked at it like she hadn't really seen them before? If you have any questions on it I'd make an appt to go in and talk to her, otherwise I'd just print the results and hand it in with everything else. :)

Anyone able to get their uniform yet? There are no small or medium nursing uniforms in bookstore right now.... I called today and they can't tell me when they'll be in as they said last order took a long time and it's up in the air as to when they'll be in. Anyone else heard this as well? It's a little frusterating not knowing an "in" date. Hoping there in when I go to get my books next week.

I went in there on Monday, and the lady said that there will be a good selection available on December 14th. She said that they had a huge delivery coming in due to accounts being available that day.

Indy's book bundle is supposed to ship on the 14th, so if you are wanting to do a little one stop shopping you may want to wait until the following week. Here is hoping it "ships" on time, nothing worse than having to get books after the semester starts!

I tried on L and XL tops at the bookstore today (just over my shirt). Probably will go with L since they hopefully won't shrink much, since they are a lovely 65/35 polyester/cotton blend. No wonder they feel like cheap bedsheets LOL. Nice and stiff.

That answers the ironing question. :) Wash and wear, woo hoo!

Oh you're right Kim, I hadn't thought of that! I HATE ironing!!
