Are you attending Ivy Tech? I was just talking about the letters of acceptance to Ivy Tech Lafayette Campus. They were supposed to send them out by March 1st, but I just wanted to let everyone know that they were sent out on the 25th at Lafayette Campus. I had to be accepted into a program before registering for any nursing classes. Is that what you mean? Sorry to confuse ya!

Jenny

Ok I'm sorry to get that mixed up. Ok I applied and then received a letter of acceptance, I still haven't registered for classes though. do you know when the deadline to register is? And do you happen to know if you have to take any type of test before your actually IN!? even though you were already accepted? I hope that makes sense:) ANd I am talking about the lafayette campus.

Hey-no problem! With your acceptance letter, there was another letter saying when the registration/orientation days are. One in March and one in April, I believe. Were you accepted to LPN or RN? For either one, you should have already taken the PSB for LPN or the TEAS (both entrance tests) to even be considered. SO, YOU'RE IN!! I have anatomy lecture/lab this morning (Monday) from 9-11, but you can email me and I'll check it after that if you still have questions. Maybe we can meet! I need someone from my area (Monticello) to study with once we start the program. By the way, that letter that has the registration times on it also has check boxes saying if you plan on attending. You need to pick which registration time and say that you can attend the program and return it by March 15 so you don't loose your spot! Don't forget!

Good luck, Jenny

Hi Liz07,

You got into a nursing program? Where? How have you been doing?

Agape

I have been accepted to both I"m not attending until this fall. I haven't registered for classes yet.

Hmm well maybe I'm not accepted. I received my acceptance letter and it says congratulations you have been accepted to Ivy tech state ollege for the fall of 05. And then it goes on and says my file has been forwarded to the health Division and I need to call and contact my program advisor and register for classes.

Well I called today and they said they aren't registering for classes and asked if I was in a program. I told them I didn't know but they told me I need to set an appointment and then transfered me and I made an appointment for 3 weeks from now. What does this mean? I am so confused I feel CLUELESS.

What should I wear to the appointment? Comfy jeans? or A nice outfit with black pants? lol

Your letter most likely means that you have been accepted to Ivy Tech but not to the nursing program yet. They probably need you to meet with an advisor from the health division about the nursing program to make sure you are meeting all of the requirements. Did you send in your application for the nursing program or just your general application to the college?
