Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

BIG congrats to the rest of the future Indy nurses.
Hoping the rest of you get good news tomorrow - or at least soon! They might send out the letters sooner than they say. We got our letters first, and when I called the receptionist said that they wouldn't be mailed out until the last week of May or first week of June.
I applied to valpo ASN with 211 points. From what ive read on here so far that would have gotten me into any of the other campuses. Im just worried i will get rejected for some stupid reason like a clerical error. I handed in one copy of my transcripts back in april but then had to hand in another copy at the end of the semester with my aphy 102 grade. The second copy didnt print off well, and even though you could plainly see i had an A in 102 you couldnt read some of the other grades. But i figured since they already had the other copy it wouldnt matter. I will be so ticked if i dont get in because of that...that kind of stuff always happens to me. I should find out today after work...the letters were supposedly sent out thursday.
I have decided to accept the LPN/RN alternate position at Lafayette so I am giving up my LPN seat at Indy. One lucky person will be moving up out of the alternate LPN position, so good luck!

i too have applied to valpo and i am sitting here a nervous wreck waiting for the mail lady....i just hope the letter does come today and puts an end to all this anxious waiting

nothing from it valpo today.....ugh now i have to wait until tuesday
Cabana, Who was it that responded to your e-mail? Someone was told today that the letters aren't being mailed until next week! Jeesh!
Professor ***** was the one that emailed me back on Monday and said that. Oh, I am sure things have changes as they always do for South Bend. It would not be like them to be ON TIME or RESPOND APPROPRIATELY. Hope that helps a little bit!
Cabana, I didnt get it today, so it probably wont be until Wednesday if they mail it Tuesday. This really sucks!! We just need to try and enjoy the weekend I guess.
Since so many of us applied at multiple campuses, whatever spots we don't take will be open for someone else now --so there's still some wiggle room for everyone once confirmations are done...Good luck! :)
