Ivy Tech 'Fall 2010' Applicants

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....

Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?

I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

And good luck to all the Spring 2010 applicants! :yeah:Hope everyone gets in!!!

i called valpo and they said they mailed out the letters yesterday so i am praying this torture of waiting will all be over tomorrow

i am happy for you guys, south benders will have to wait until the middle of next week at the earliest! it's just not right!

Okay, just got my letter, for those wondering about the LPN, I had a 203 and was not accepted, so the cut off must have been right at 204! Good thing I signed up to re-take Anatomy 102 as a back up plan!

Dang. That is crazy. I think there were people that got into the PN program with scores in the mid 190's this spring. Competition must have been unreal this fall.

Well, I got my envelope from Lawerance today and I did not get in with a 204.

Accepted to Lawrence/Indy LPN with a 204. Hope that helps anyone trying to find out the LPN cut-offs. Congrats to everyone and I will update if I get letters from Anderson/Muncie or Kokomo tomorrow!

Thanks. Is your 204 with a rounded TEAS or did you have a solid 204? I know I am being anal but I had a 204.9 w/o rounding the TEAS and I am dying to know.

My mail is messed up and I may not get the letter for a few days. Worried sick all day :(

Momma needs a miracle.

A 204.9 will give you a 205. I am must astounded that the PN cutoff is 204. That would have been dang close to getting in the RN for the spring semester. You guys are bunch of Super Brainiacs going against one another. Lord I am happy I applied a semester earlier.

I received an email from someone (only because I emailed and asked) and she said as of yesterday (Monday) letters were not sent out yet but most likely by Friday. Nothing like waiting until the last second. She also said that there are RNs being accepted with under 200 points. That is ALL that she said though. So dont give up just yet if you dont have the higher 200's points. Looks like it still might be possible. Last years cut off for RN was 189 and she could not remember what the cutoff for LPN was. Good luck to all and post when you get your acceptance letters.

Cabana, Who was it that responded to your e-mail? Someone was told today that the letters aren't being mailed until next week! Jeesh!

no its not.....unless the people deciding and choosing went on vacation, there is no reason it should take this long to pick who gets in, especially when apps were due in april.....horrible to wait that long!

Momma got her miracle. :) LPN @ Lawrence.

momma got her miracle. :) lpn @ lawrence.

congrats, brightestfuture!!!!!!!!

wouldn't you know it; last year evansville's letters were here on the 27th, but the year i apply, they take their sweet time. lol...hot bamboo shards under the fingernails would be preferable to this torture right now. ;-)

[color=dimgray]okay, not really.

i know. this was a rough day. i would be more excited but i mostly feel like a wet noodle.

Congrats! Just wondering if you also applied to Lafayette (secretly hoping that several did and will be opening up some spots for me!). I was amazed the scores were so high.

Laura

Sorry, Laura, but I did not apply to Lafayette. I kind of wish I did, though. I didn't know about the Lafayette campus until recently, and I think I would like driving there better than driving to Lawrence.

Crossing my fingers for you...
