Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.
And good luck to all the Spring 2010 applicants! :yeah:Hope everyone gets in!!!
As for the nerves, I feel the same way. It seemed like there wasn't much to the application (which makes it seem like I'm omitting something)
I know! I was expecting something thicker, etc and it's just a small packet. I keep thinking that I'm forgetting something. Ugh!
I'm applying at the Evansville campus. Which one are you at again? I certainly hope that 207 is good enough. Those darn 3 pts are killing me. You have a 212, right? I bet that definitely assures you a place in the program!

Yep, I'm over there, too. Good luck, Infin! A friend of mine is applying at Madison, also!
BTW, I'm having a bit of a mini freak out thinking about what happens if I DON'T make an A in 102. I'm there on the cusp (thanks to a dismal C on the last lecture exam due to studying for 101's midterm) and I'm really, really nervous! Basically, I need to make at least a 90% on the rest of my exams! I know I can do it...I'm just really, really worried because if I mess up on even one...that could mean a B and not getting into the ASN program!!!!!
Oh and I'm going to ask about those region points tomorrow when I turn in my app. E'ville is in my region, I'm just not actually IN Indiana; however, I do pay the same rate per credit hour, blah, blah, blah. So, I'm curious about whether I get the same points or not. It would definitely make me feel better about my score. :-)
From what I've heard, yes it's pretty competitive. Of course, I've only talked with a few people but...pretty much everyone I've talked to is wanting to go into the Nursing Program. Surely, a 207 would be good enough to get into the RN program?
Are Columbus and Madison competitive? I don't know much about most of the campuses other than Indy is very, very competitive.

207 sounds like a good score to me! (Congrats on the lab exams too!) What campus are you applying to again?
